Steel straps are popular with the building and export industries, steel strapping is used where very heavy or sharp-edged loads require securing. As opposed to polypropylene strapping, which may not prove as robust where sharp or protruding edges are apparent, metal strapping gives extra strength and security. Steel strapping is also known as Metal banding and Stainless Steel Banding.
Ribbon Wound steel strapping has each layer of steel wound directly over the one below – this type of steel banding makes the width of the steel strap the same as the width of the steel coil.
Oscillation Wound Steel Strapping is exceptionally strong and durable, steel strapping is ideal for securing heavy palletised loads, plywood cases and sharp-edged objects.
